Meet Bitsgap AI Chat: Tell It Your Goal, It Builds the Bot
Describe the coin, the budget and the risk you can live with. Bitsgap AI Chat reads the market for that pair, suggests backtested strategies and opens the launch form with settings filled in. You confirm the launch yourself. Here's how it works and where it stops.

Bitsgap AI Chat is an assistant inside the Bitsgap platform that turns a trading goal written in plain words into a configured trading bot. You name the coin, the budget and the risk you can live with. The AI picks a fitting bot type, suggests backtested settings and opens the launch form for you. You review the parameters and confirm the launch yourself: the AI can't start a bot on its own.
If you'd rather see it than read about it, AI Chat is open on every plan, including Free. Open it here and type your first request.
The settings screen was always the hard part
Picture your first grid bot. You've picked ETH, you have $300 set aside, and then the form asks for an upper price, a lower price, the number of grid levels, a stop loss and a take profit. Every field is reasonable. Together they feel like an exam you didn't study for.
Most people who quit bot trading never lose money on a bad strategy. They close the tab on the settings screen. The strategy part, "I think ETH stays in a range this month," is usually clear in their head. Translating it into twelve numbers is where it breaks.
AI Chat moves that translation to the AI. You keep the idea and the final decision. The machine does the arithmetic in between.
How a launch works
- Describe the goal. Write it the way you'd say it to a friend: "I have $300, I want a bot on ETH, low risk."
- The AI reads the pair. It checks recent price action, how wide the swings have been and whether the market looks like a range or a trend.
- It picks a bot type. A sideways market points to a grid. A trend with regular pullbacks points to DCA. Sharp drops with rebounds point to a dip-buying bot.
- It proposes the settings. It offers backtested strategies with a range, order count and stop loss, and explains why they fit.
- You confirm in the launch form. The AI opens the form with the parameters filled in. Nothing goes live until you press the button there. Want a narrower range or a smaller budget? Ask first, and it reworks the setup.
Show ImageBitsgap AI Chat walks you through a launch and offers backtested strategies. You confirm the launch in the form.
Once launched, the bot runs on Bitsgap's servers around the clock, so it keeps working when you close your laptop. You can edit or stop it from the bot dashboard like any bot you set up by hand.
What a short conversation looks like:

You check the numbers in the form and press launch. That last click is always yours.
The exact numbers depend on the market when you ask. That's the point: the setup comes from current data, not a template written months ago.
What AI Chat does and what it won't do
| AI Chat does | AI Chat won't |
|---|---|
| Picks a bot type for your goal and the current market | Start a bot by itself. You confirm every launch in the form |
| Proposes range, orders, step and stop loss, with reasons | Move or withdraw your funds |
| Reworks the setup when you ask for changes | Promise a result. A well-chosen bot can still lose if the market turns |
| Opens the launch form with the settings filled in | Invent strategies outside the bots the platform offers |
| Answers questions about how a bot or setting works | Replace your judgment on how much to risk |
Why chat is where trading tools are heading
Computers went from typed commands to buttons to touchscreens. Each step removed something you had to memorize. Trading software mostly stopped at buttons: rows of them, each one a decision you're expected to understand already.
Talking to the tool is the next step, and it changes who gets to use it. A trader who knows what they want but not how to phrase it in grid levels can now say it in a sentence. An experienced trader gets a second pair of eyes that reads the chart in seconds and shows its working.
Think of it as GPS for a trading idea. You still choose the destination and you can ignore the route. You just don't have to unfold the paper map every time.
There's a limit worth stating. The AI is fast at reading data and filling forms. It doesn't know what happens next in the market any better than you do. The bot you launch follows rules, and rules hold up best when you've tested them first.
Is it safe to let AI launch a trading bot?
Three things stay true whichever bot the AI picks:
- Your funds stay on your exchange. Bitsgap connects through an API key with trading permission and withdrawals switched off. See how keys are protected on the security page.
- You hold the launch button. The AI proposes, you decide.
- Demo mode is there for practice. Run the same type of bot with a simulated balance in demo trading before real funds go in.
Show ImageFast Connect: Bitsgap gets access to balance, trade history and order placement on the exchange.
Market risk doesn't disappear because an AI chose the settings. A grid bot still loses if price falls out of its range and keeps going. Start small, watch the first few days and adjust.
Who gets the most out of it
- First-time bot users who understand the idea but stall on the form.
- Busy traders who want a working setup in a minute instead of twenty.
- Experienced traders who want a quick read of a pair and a starting point to tweak.

Frequently asked questions
What is an AI crypto trading bot? A trading bot that follows fixed rules, such as a grid or DCA strategy, where AI helps choose the bot type and its settings. In Bitsgap AI Chat, the AI configures the bot from your goal and current market data, and the bot then places and manages orders on your exchange.
Do I need an exchange account to use Bitsgap AI Chat? You can chat and get a proposed setup without one. To launch a bot, you need an exchange connected to Bitsgap through an API key with trading permission and withdrawals turned off.
Can AI Chat trade without my approval? No. AI Chat can't start a bot by itself. It proposes a bot and settings and opens the launch form, and you confirm the launch there. You can change the setup as many times as you like before that.
Is Bitsgap AI Chat free? AI Chat is available on every plan, including Free. The number of requests you can send depends on your plan.
Will an AI-launched bot always make money? No. AI picks settings from recent data, but markets change. A bot can lose money if price moves against the condition it was built for. Test in demo mode first and start with an amount you can afford to lose.
