### **Bot Settings**

**Configuring Your DCA Bot's Start Conditions**  
When setting up your DCA Bot, the “Manual adjustment” section provides options to customize your bot’s settings to align with your trading strategy. The settings you choose here will define how the bot enters the market, the type of orders it places, and how it handles risk 

#### **1. Bot Start Conditions**

**How the Bot Enters the Trade**  
Choose how the DCA Bot will begin its operations:

- **Immediately**: The bot enters the market as soon as all settings are filled. The position opens instantly with all DCA orders.
- **By Indicator Signal**: The bot waits for a signal from the selected indicator(s) before entering the trade.

**Tip**: You can select up to six indicators at once, and the bot will start the cycle based on the sum of their signals over the selected timeframe.

**Editing Indicators**:

- To edit the current indicator, click the \[X] next to the indicator name and choose a new one.
- Select additional indicators if needed and adjust the timeframe.

#### **2. Base Order Amount & Type**

**Defining the Initial Investment and Order Type**  
Next, define the size of your base order (the initial position). You’ll also need to select the order type:

- **Limit Order**: Opens a position at a fixed price. It may take longer to fill, but it ensures a better entry price.
- **Market Order**: Opens the position immediately but may result in price slippage, buying or selling at less favorable prices.

**Tip**: For optimal performance, the **Limit Order** is recommended to avoid losses from price slippage.

#### **3. Averaging Orders**

**Averaging the Position with Additional Orders**  
As the market moves, your DCA Bot will place additional orders to average the price of your position. You can customize:

- **Averaging Orders Amount**: The total investment allocated to DCA orders.
- **Averaging Orders Quantity**: The number of averaging orders the bot will execute.
- **Averaging Orders Step, %**: The percentage distance between each averaging order.

**Active Orders Limit**: This option controls the number of active averaging orders at any given time. When fewer active orders are placed, lower-priced orders remain inactive, freeing up funds for other trades.

**Tip**: Active orders are only placed at the lowest prices, ensuring that the remaining funds can be used for additional transactions.

### **Position TP & SL**

This section includes settings that lead to closing your position.

#### **1. Take Profit (TP)**

**Setting Your Profit Target**  
The **Take Profit** (TP) option closes the bot's position once a certain profit percentage is achieved. You can select:

- **Regular Take Profit**: Triggered based on price change from the average price, base order price, or by using indicators.
- **Trailing Take Profit (TTP)**: Adjusts the TP as the market moves in your favor, locking in higher profits.

**Important Note**: When using indicators for TP, it will only trigger when both the indicator’s signal and the price percentage condition are met.

**Trailing TP**:

- **Trailing TP Trigger %**: The price change percentage at which trailing TP activates.
- **Price Deviation %**: The price must move by this percentage from the highest price for Long or lowest price for Short to trigger the trailing TP.

#### **2. Stop Loss (SL)**

**Protecting Against Losses**  
The **Stop Loss (SL)** is used to prevent further losses by closing the position when the price moves against the trade. It is triggered based on the maximum weighted average price of your position.

**Trailing Stop Loss**:

- Moves the SL as the price moves in your favor. If the price reverses, the SL will close the position based on the pre-set percentage.

**Tip**: The SL can be adjusted manually, and trailing SL cancels orders placed below the SL, which will appear in gray.

#### **1. Control Over DCA Bot Closure** The **Risk Management** section allows you to automatically close your DCA bot under certain conditions:

- **Pump/Dump Protection**: Pauses new positions when the price moves too quickly in either direction.
- **Target Total Profit**: Automatically closes the bot once it reaches the desired profit level.
- **Allowed Total Loss**: Automatically closes the bot once the specified loss percentage is reached.

#### **2. Max & Min Prices**

**Set Price Ranges**  
This option lets you limit the prices at which the bot can trade, preventing it from buying at the peak or selling at the dip. By setting maximum and minimum price limits, you can avoid unfavorable market conditions.

### **What is the Reinvest Profit Feature?**

The **Reinvest Profit** feature allows you to add the profits generated from previous bot cycles to the initial investment in each new cycle. This means that, in addition to the initial capital, the profits earned from earlier cycles are reinvested, gradually increasing the bot’s position size.

**Key Benefits:**

- **Increased Investment:** Profits from previous cycles are added to the bot’s investment, increasing the volume of trades.
- **Higher Profits:** By reinvesting profits, your bot can potentially generate higher returns from each Take Profit order.

**Important Note:** The Reinvest Profit feature is available for both **spot** and **futures DCA Bots**, but in **Live mode**, it is only available for the **Advanced**, **Pro**, and **Trial Pro** plans. This feature becomes available only when the bot has generated a **positive profit**.

### **How to Enable the Reinvest Profit Feature**

#### **For a New Bot:**

1. Open the **Manual Adjustment** section.
2. Navigate to the **Risk Management** area.
3. Toggle the **Reinvest Profit** option to activate it.
4. Select the **percentage** of profit you’d like to reinvest.

#### **For an Active Bot:**

1. Go to the list of active bots.
2. Click on \[**Bot Actions**] → \[**Modify Bot**].
3. In the **Risk Management** section, switch on the **Reinvest Profit** toggle and select the **percentage** of profit you’d like to reinvest.
4. Click \[Continue] → \[Confirm] to save the changes.

- **Asset Allocation Section:** Displays the total amount of funds used for the bot, including the reinvested profit.

You will also see the following information:

- **Available Balance:** How much of your funds can be used for the bot.
- **Current Position Size:** The size of your current position in the base currency.
- **Estimated Position Size:** The approximate size of the position after manual averaging.
- **DCA Price:** The average price of the asset in the current cycle before applying manual averaging.
- **Estimated DCA Price:** The new average price after applying manual averaging.

#### Step 4: Confirm the Changes

Once you've set the amount to average, click the \[Confirm] button to apply the changes. The bot will execute the averaging transaction, and you’ll see the updated position size and DCA price reflected in the bot’s history with the status “Manual avg.” The changes will also appear on the chart.

**Important Note:** Once the DCA bot has started, you cannot activate or modify the Active Orders Limit. Be sure to set it up during the initial configuration.

### **How Does the Active Orders Limit Feature Work?**

When you create a DCA bot, the **initial investment** includes both active and inactive averaging orders. However, only funds for active orders are reserved from your available balance, leaving funds for inactive orders to be used for other trades until they are activated.

#### **Visual Representation:**

The **Active Orders** will be shown as green on the chart, and any **Inactive Orders** will appear gray. This helps you easily track which orders are currently active and manage your balance efficiently.

In this case, the amount of funds reserved for the averaging (green) orders will be calculated as follows: 82.12 USDT + 106.75 USDT + 138.78 USDT + 180.42 USDT + 234.54 USDT = 742.61 USDT.

As the Active Orders Limit is activated, funds will only be reserved for the active (green) orders. For example, 742.63 USDT would be reserved for the active orders, while funds for the inactive (gray) orders remain available for other trades. As soon as an active order is executed, an inactive order is placed in the order book.

### **Important Considerations for Active Orders Limit**

- **Stop Loss:** If you activate the Stop Loss feature, it will be placed under the entire grid (for a Long DCA bot) or above it (for a Short DCA bot). Once an order is executed, it will be labeled "Canceled."

If your bot cannot place an averaging order, this usually happens because the **Averaging Order Limit** is enabled and your available balance is too low to cover the required amount. When this occurs, the bot will pause the averaging order and wait until the necessary funds become available.

The **Averaging Order Limit** is designed to control the number of active averaging orders in your DCA bot. To enable the feature, follow these steps:

1. **Click** on **"Start a New Bot"**.

How to Manage Averaging Orders Limit and Insufficient Funds with Your DCA Bot

This guide explains how the **Max Price** and **Reserve Funds** options work in the **DCA bot**. It covers when and how funds are reserved, what appears in the interface, and how these settings affect the bot's behavior.

For a **DCA Long bot**, the **Max Price** feature allows you to delay the bot’s start until the market price drops below your specified threshold. This is useful if you expect the asset to become cheaper and want the bot to start trading only afterward.

### **What Is the Reserve Funds Option?**

When **Max Price** is activated, the **Reserve Funds** option becomes available and is enabled by default. It ensures that your full investment is **reserved** while the bot waits for the market to reach your Max Price (for Long bots, this means the price needs to drop).

This prevents your funds from being used elsewhere and guarantees the bot will start as expected once the market conditions are met.

### **How the Logic Works**

#### **1. When Max Price + Reserve Funds Are Enabled**

**Bot Setup:**

- You configure the DCA bot and, under **Manual Adjustments &gt; Risk Management**, set a Max Price **below the current market price**.
- The **Reserve Funds** toggle turns on automatically (you may disable it manually if needed).

- Depending on the exchange's rules, there may be **multiple limit orders** if your investment exceeds per-order volume limits.

**When the Price Reaches Max Price:**

- The reserved limit order(s) are automatically **canceled**.
- The bot starts trading: it places the **base order** and builds the averaging grid.
- The bot status changes from **“Funds Reserved”** to **“Active”**.

#### **2. When Max Price Is Enabled but Reserve Funds Is Disabled**

- The bot places **no orders** until the market price drops below Max Price.
- It shows a **“Range”** status and does not reserve any funds.
- This means the funds may be used elsewhere, which could prevent the bot from starting later.

### **Why Reserve Funds Is Useful?**

This feature allows you to:

- Delay bot activation until favorable market conditions are met.
- Ensure funds are securely **locked** and **not available** to other bots or manual trades.
- Prevent confusion or accidental overspending when managing multiple bots.

### **Interaction with Other Settings**

- If **Active Order Limit (AOL)** is enabled, the reserved amount only includes the funds needed for **active (non-on-hold)** orders.
- If **Profit Reinvesting** is enabled, the reinvested profit is also included in the reserved amount.
- If your bot is set to launch **based on indicator signals**, the **Max Price** and **Reserve Funds** settings take **priority**. The bot will **not** start until the price crosses Max Price — even if an indicator gives a valid trigger.

### **Updating an Existing Bot**

You can apply Max Price and Reserve Funds to an **already running** bot:

1. **Modify** the bot and set a Max Price **below** the current market price.
2. Ensure **Reserve Funds** is toggled ON.

⚠️ If there are **not enough funds** available for reservation, the bot will enter the **“Insufficient Funds”** status, and the limit order may fail.

- For a **DCA Short bot**, the logic works in reverse: the bot places a **limit sell order** far **above** the current price to reserve the investment.
- **Manual cancellation** of the reservation order will cause the bot to re-create it.

Adding funds to your running DCA bot allows you to increase your investment without restarting it. This guide explains how the feature works, what changes when funds are added, and how it affects orders, Take Profit, Stop Loss, and performance metrics.

### **What Happens When You Add Funds**

#### **1. In the current cycle**

When you add funds to an active DCA bot:

- Only **unfilled** and **partially filled** orders are recalculated and updated based on the new investment amount.
- **Filled orders** (including the base order and filled averaging orders) remain unchanged and keep their original volume.
- The added amount is distributed according to your original bot configuration (e.g., 30% base / 70% averaging orders), with averaging orders recalculated using the same multiplier and allocation logic.
- **Take Profit** – remains unchanged because the position size is unchanged.
- **Stop Loss** – is recalculated in the current cycle (if active) as the average price changes when averaging orders increase in size.
- **Active Order Limit** – If enabled, on-hold orders (grey lines) are also recalculated according to the new investment amount.
- **Unused funds** – If part of the added amount was intended for already executed orders, that portion stays on your available balance until the next cycle, when it will be fully used.

#### **2. In the next cycles**

- **Base order** – Added funds will be used in the base order only in the cycle following the addition.
- **Order redistribution** – Funds are split according to the original allocation (e.g., 30% base / 70% averaging orders) and applied to the averaging grid using the same multiplier.

### **How to Add Funds**

You can add funds in two ways:

#### **1. From the bot’s Performance menu**

- Click on the bot.
- Select **Bot Actions** → **Add Funds**.
- Enter the amount and click **Confirm**.

### **Changes in Statistics**

- The T**otal investment** increases immediately (in the Bot list in the Current value column and in the Bot performance menu). The same happens to **Total investment + Current value**.
- **Total PnL (absolute)** stays the same.
- **Total PnL %** decreases because it’s calculated against a larger investment.

- **Minimum amount** – The minimum you can add is the same as your exchange’s minimum order size, or $20, whichever is higher.
- **Available statuses** – You can add funds in all bot statuses except **Closing, Adding Funds, API Error**
- **Sufficient balance** – The system checks your available balance minus the funds already reserved for the bot in the current and next cycle.
