Connect your exchange

This guide explains how to create your **Aster API key** and connect it to the **Bitsgap platform** for automated and manual trading.

### **Creating the Aster API Key**

Follow the steps below to generate your API key in Aster.

**1. Log in to Your Aster Account**

- Go to your [Aster account](https://www.asterdex.com/en/referral/A3eE58).
- If your wallet is not connected yet, connect it first (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect).

**2. Open API Management**

- Click **More** in the top navigation bar.
- Select **API Management**.

- Go to the **Pro API** tab and click **Authorize new API wallet** to create a V3 API key.

**3. Prepare for Connection to Bitsgap**

- Log in to your Bitsgap account.
- Go to the [**My Exchanges**](https://app.bitsgap.com/my-exchanges) page and click \[Add new exchange].
- Select **Aster** from the list.
- Copy Bitsgap’s trusted IP addresses displayed in the Aster setup window. Save them securely for later use.

**4. Create the API Key**

Go back to the Aster page and, in the pop-up window:

- Assign a label to your new API key (for example, **“Bitsgap”**).
- Click **Generate** to create the API key.
- Aster will display the **API wallet address (API key)** and **Secret Key** — copy both and store them securely.

Configure the API restrictions to ensure compatibility with Bitsgap:

- **Read:** Enabled
- **Spot trading:** Enabled
- **Perps trading:** Enabled *(optional, if you plan to trade futures)*
- **Withdrawal:** Disabled
- Set the **Days valid** field to the maximum allowed value (**365 days**).
- In the **IP Restrictions** field, paste the Bitsgap IP addresses copied earlier and click **Add**.
- Click **Authorize** to complete the API key creation.

**5. Copy your Main Wallet address:**

Click on your email in the top-right corner of the page, then copy your **Main Wallet (Main Account)** address and save it.

### **Connecting Aster to Bitsgap**

After creating your API key, follow the steps below to connect Aster account to Bitsgap.

**1. Go to Bitsgap → My Exchanges**

- Log in to your Bitsgap account and navigate to [**My Exchanges**](https://app.bitsgap.com/my-exchanges).
- Click **+ Add new exchange**.

**2. Select Aster**

In the pop-up window:

- Choose **Aster** from the list of supported exchanges.
- Enter your **API wallet**, **Private Key** and **Main wallet**.
- Click **Connect**.

**3. Verify the Connection**

Once the connection is successful:

- **Aster** will appear in your exchange list with a **Connected** status.
- Your available trading balance will be visible in Bitsgap.

### Binance Fast API Setup

1. **Open Futures Account (optional):**
   
   - Log in to your [Binance account](https://www.binance.com/en?ref=29263275). If you plan to connect Binance Futures, go to **Wallet &gt; Futures** to open your Futures account and follow the instructions provided by the Binance exchange. When you complete all steps, your Binance Futures account will be open - this will allow you to trade on your Binance futures account via Bitsgap.

- If you're only using the Spot market, you can skip this step.

2. **Go to [My Exchanges](https://app.bitsgap.com/my-exchanges) on Bitsgap:**
   
   - Log in to your Bitsgap account and navigate to the **My Exchanges** page.
   - Click **\[Add new exchange]**.

3. **Select Binance and Choose Fast Connect:**
   
   - Choose **Binance** from the list, click **\[Fast Connect]** and **\[Connect]**.

4. **Log in to Your Binance Account:**
   
   - You will be redirected to the Binance website to log in.

**Note: Fast API key creation** does not give access to your account or transfer any personal information.

5. **Connection Check:**
   
   - After successful authorization, you'll be automatically redirected to the **My Exchanges** page on Bitsgap.
   - If everything is done correctly, Binance will appear with the "Connected" status and your available trading balance will be displayed.

### Manual Connection of Binance API Keys

1. **Log in to [Binance](https://www.binance.com/en?ref=29263275):**
   
   - Log into your [Binance account](https://www.binance.com/en?ref=29263275) (or create a new one if needed).

2. **Open Futures Account (optional):**
   
   - If you plan to connect Binance Futures, go to **Wallet &gt; Futures** to open your Futures account and follow the instructions provided by the Binance exchange. When you complete all steps, your Binance Futures account will be open - this will allow you to trade on your Binance futures account via Bitsgap.

3. **Go to API Management:**
   
   - Navigate to **Account Settings** (top-right corner), and then to **API Management**.

4. **Create an API Key:**
   
   - Click on **\[Create API]** to generate a new API key.

5. **Choose API Key Type:**
   
   - Select **System Generated** API key type and click **\[Next]**.

6. **Label Your API Key:**
   
   - Name your API key (for example, "Bitsgap API") for easy reference.

7. **Pass Security Verification:**
   
   - Complete the email verification and 2FA code to confirm the creation of your key.

8. **Go to [My Exchanges](https://app.bitsgap.com/my-exchanges) on Bitsgap:**
   
   - Log in to your Bitsgap account and go to the **My Exchanges** page.
   - Click **\[Add new exchange]**.



9. **Select Binance and Choose Manual Connect:**
   
   - Copy the list of trusted IP addresses and save them (e.g., in a notepad) for future use.

10. **Match API Key Restrictions:**



- In the API key settings on Binance, click **\[Edit restrictions]** and set the required permissions.

- **Enable** the following:
  
  - **Reading** (enabled by default)
  - **Spot & Margin Trading**
  - **Futures** (optional)
- Add the copied IP addresses under **IP Access restrictions**.

11. **Security Verification:**



- Complete the 2FA and email verification to apply the changes.



12. **Copy API Key and Secret Key:**



- Copy both the **API Key** and **Secret Key** for use in Bitsgap.

13. **Go Back to Bitsgap &gt; My Exchanges:**



- In the pop-up window, paste your API Key and Secret Key.
- Click **\[Connect]**.

14. **Connection Check:**



- Once the connection is established, your Binance account will show as "Connected" and display the available trading balance.

**Note:** Binance has updated its API services, and as of **August 9, 2021**, only users who have completed intermediate verification can create new API keys. For more details, refer to the official announcement on Binance.

Bitsgap enables you to manage your cryptocurrency trades across various exchanges from a single interface, offering additional tools that aren't available directly on the exchange.

To perform trading operations, you will need to generate an API key from Binance.US. This key is unique to your account and ensures secure transactions, as it does not grant access to personal data or allow fund management such as withdrawals or deposits.

### Steps to Create and Set Up the Binance.US API Key

1. **Log in to [Binance.US](https://www.binance.us/en/home):**  
   Start by logging into your [Binance.US account](https://www.binance.us/en/home), or create one if you haven't already.

2. **Go to the API Management Page:**  
   From your account settings (top-right corner), navigate to the **API Management** section.

3. **Label Your API Key:**  
   Choose a name for your API key (e.g., "Bitsgap API") to easily recognize its purpose. After labeling, click **\[Create]**.

4. **Confirm the Creation of API Keys:**  
   Binance.US will send a confirmation email to the address linked to your account. Open the email and confirm the creation of the API key.

5. **Edit API Key Restrictions:**  
   To enable Bitsgap to process your trades, you need to adjust the API key restrictions. Click **\[Edit restrictions]** and apply the following permissions:
   
   - **Can Read** (this is enabled by default).
   - **Enable Spot Trading**.
   - **Unrestricted IP Access**.

6. Once these changes are made, click **\[Save]**.
7. **Copy Your API Key and Secret Key:**  
   Make sure to copy both your **API Key** and **Secret Key** to a safe location. After editing the API key permissions, the **Secret Key** will be hidden, and if lost, you will need to start over.

8. **Go to [Bitsgap &gt; My Exchanges](https://app.bitsgap.com/my-exchanges):**  
   Log into your Bitsgap account and navigate to the **My Exchanges** page. Here, you'll find the option to connect your Binance.US account. Click **\[Add new exchange]**.

9. **Enter Your API and Secret Keys:**  
   In the pop-up window, select **Binance.US** from the list of exchanges. Paste your **API Key** and **Secret Key** into the respective fields, then click **\[Connect]**.  
   **Important:** Ensure you are selecting **Binance.US** instead of the global Binance exchange.

10. **Connection Check:**  
    Once the API key is successfully connected, you will see **Binance.US** listed with a **Connected** status. Your available trading balance will also be displayed.

### Steps to Create and Set Up the Bitget API Key

1. **Log in to [Bitget](https://partner.bitget.com/bg/T88KX1):**  
   Start by [logging](https://partner.bitget.com/bg/T88KX1) into your Bitget account or [create one](https://partner.bitget.com/bg/T88KX1) if you don't have an account yet.

2. **Enable 2FA or SMS Verification (for New Accounts):**  
   If you're using a new Bitget account, navigate to your account settings (top-right corner) and enable either **2FA** or **phone number verification** under the **Security settings** tab.

**Note:** Without additional security verification, Bitget will not allow you to proceed with creating API keys.

3. **Go to the API Management Page:**  
   From your account profile, go to the **API Keys** page to manage your API settings.

4. **Create an API Key:**  
   Click the **\[Create API key]** button to begin the process of creating a new key.

5. **Select API Key Type:**  
   Choose **System-generated API key** and proceed by clicking the arrow to continue creating your API key.

6. **Match API Permissions:**  
   Choose a name for your API key (for easy identification, such as "Bitsgap API"). At this point, you'll also need to create an **API Passphrase**. Be sure to save this passphrase securely, as it will be needed later.  
   Set the following permissions for the key:
   
   - **Read-write** (enabled by default).
   - **Permission type**: Name.

7. **Important:** If you're trading futures, ensure that the **Orders** and **Futures-Holdings** permissions are enabled.

8. **Pass Security Verification:**  
   Complete the required security verification by entering the **email verification code** and your **2FA code**. Click **\[Verify]**.

9. **Copy Your API Key and Secret Key:**  
   Once the API key is successfully created, be sure to copy both the **API Key** and **Secret Key**. Save them in a secure location, as the **Secret Key** will not be shown again after this step.

10. **Go to [Bitsgap &gt; My Exchanges](https://app.bitsgap.com/my-exchanges) Page:**  
    Log into your Bitsgap account, navigate to the **My Exchanges** page, and click **\[Add new exchange]** to begin the process of connecting your exchange.

11. **Select Bitget and Enter API Information:**  
    In the pop-up window, do the following:



- Select **Bitget** from the list of exchanges.
- Paste your **API Key** and **Secret Key** into the appropriate fields.
- Enter the **API Passphrase**.
- Click **\[Connect]**.

11. **Connection Check:**  
    After successful connection, you should see **Bitget** listed as a connected exchange with a **Connected** status. Your available trading balance will also be visible in your Bitsgap account.

### How to Replace an API Key

1. **Go to [Bitsgap &gt; My Exchanges](https://app.bitsgap.com/my-exchanges) Page:**  
   In the **My Exchanges** page, locate your Bitget API key. Click the **\[More]** (three dots) button in the top-right corner, then select **\[Replace API key]**.

2. **Renew the API Key:**  
   Insert your **API Key**, **Secret Key**, and **Passphrase**. Click **\[Replace]** to update your API key settings.

3. **Check the Connection Status:**  
   After replacing the key, you should see **Bitget** listed as **Connected** again, with your trading balance available for use.

### Steps to Create and Set Up the Bitfinex API Key

1. **Log in to [Bitfinex](https://www.bitfinex.com/sign-up/?refcode=YHzQfryN):**  
   First, log into your Bitfinex account, or create one if you don't have an account yet.

2. **Go to the API Keys Page:**  
   From your profile icon in the top-right corner, navigate to the **API Keys** tab, then click **Create New Key**.

3. **Match API Key Permissions:**  
   Set the required permissions for your API key as follows:
   
   - **Account Info:**
     
     - Get account fee information (enabled).
     - Edit account information (disabled).
   - **Account History:**
     
     - Get historical balances and trade information (enabled).
   - **Orders:**
     
     - Get orders and statuses (enabled).
     - Create and cancel orders (enabled).
   - **Margin Trading:**
     
     - Get position and margin info (disabled).
     - Claim a position (disabled).
   - **Margin Funding:**
     
     - Get funding statuses (disabled).
     - Offer, cancel, and close funding (disabled).
   - **Wallets:**
     
     - Get wallet balances and addresses (enabled).
     - Transfer between wallets (disabled).
   - **Withdraw:**
     
     - Create a new withdrawal (disabled).
   - **IP Access Restrictions:**
     
     - Allow access from any IP (enabled).

4. **Label Your API Key:**  
   Assign a name to your API key (for example, “Bitsgap API”) to help identify it later. Once ready, click **\[Generate API key]**.

5. **Insert the 2FA Code:**  
   Enter your **2FA** code to authenticate the API key creation, then click **\[Authenticate]**.

6. **Check Your Email:**  
   You will receive an email from Bitfinex containing a confirmation link. Open the email and click on the **\[Create API Key]** button to confirm.

7. **Copy Your API Key and Secret Key:**  
   After your API key is generated, copy both the **API Key** and **Secret Key**. Store them safely, as the **Secret Key** will not be visible again once you proceed.

8. **Go to [Bitsgap &gt; My Exchanges](https://app.bitsgap.com/my-exchanges):**  
   Log into your Bitsgap account and go to the **My Exchanges** page. Click **\[Add new exchange]** to begin adding Bitfinex.

9. **Select Bitfinex Exchange and Enter API Info:**  
   In the pop-up window, select **Bitfinex** from the exchange list. Paste your **API Key** and **Secret Key** into the appropriate fields, then click **\[Connect]**.

10. **Connection Check:**

1. **Log in to the [Bitmart Exchange](https://www.bitmart.com/invite/cjBuAB/en):**  
   Log into your [Bitmart account](https://www.bitmart.com/invite/cjBuAB/en), or create a [new one](https://www.bitmart.com/invite/cjBuAB/en) if you don't already have an account.

2. **Go to the API Page:**  
   From the profile menu, navigate to the **API Management** section.

3. **Label Your New API Key:**  
   In the **API List** section, give your API key a label (Memo). This will help you identify that it’s associated with your Bitsgap account.
   
   - **Important:** You will need this Memo when adding your API key to Bitsgap, so save it securely.

4. **Go to Bitsgap &gt; My Exchanges:**  
   Log in to your Bitsgap account and navigate to the **My Exchanges** page. Click **\[Add new exchange]**.

5. **Select Bitmart from the List and Copy Bitsgap IP Addresses.** These IPs will be required later to configure your API permissions securely.
6. **Return to Bitmart and Match API Permissions:**  
   Go back to the **API List** section in Bitmart. Set the following permissions for your new API key:
   
   - **Read-only:** Enabled by default.
   - **Spot-Trade:** Enabled.
   - **Binding IP Address:** Insert the IP addresses copied from the Bitsgap interface.  
     Once done, click **\[Submit]** to save your changes.

**Note:** All other permissions should be **disabled** to prevent unauthorized actions.

7. **Pass Security Verification:**  
   You will be prompted to enter the **Email Verification code**. Enter the code and click **\[Submit]** to proceed.

8. **Copy Your API Key and Secret Key:**  
   After successfully creating the API key, copy both the **API Key** and **Secret Key**. Store these in a secure place, as you will need them for the next steps.

9. **Go Back to [Bitsgap &gt; My Exchanges](https://app.bitsgap.com/my-exchanges) and Enter Your API Info:**  
   In the **Connect New Exchange** window in Bitsgap, follow these steps:
   
   - Choose **Bitmart** from the list.
   - Paste your **API Key**.
   - Paste your **Secret Key**.
   - Paste your **Memo** (the label you created in Step 3). Click **\[Connect]** to finalize the connection.

### Bybit Unified Trading Account (UTA)

Bybit has introduced [the Unified Trading Account (UTA)](https://www.bybit.com/en/help-center/article/Introduction-to-Bybit-Unified-Trading-Account) for more efficient management of assets. If you haven’t upgraded your account to a UTA yet, you can do so by following [the instructions](https://www.bybit.com/en/help-center/article/How-to-Upgrade-Standard-Account-to-UTA) on the Bybit platform. 

**Note:** 

- To trade on Bitsgap, you must upgrade your Bybit account to a UTA.
- The UTA combines both spot and futures wallets, so if you are trading futures, it is recommended to use **Isolated Margin** to avoid risking your entire balance during liquidation.

### Steps to Create and Set Up the Bybit API Key

**1. Log in to Bybit**

Log into your [Bybit account](https://www.bybit.com/) or create a [new account](https://partner.bybit.com/b/4715) if you don't have one.

**2. Go to the API Page**

From your Bybit account settings (top-right corner), navigate to the **API** page.

**3. Create an API Key**

Click the **\[Create New Key]** button to generate a new API key.

Select the **System-generated API key** option.

**5. Match API Permissions**

Configure the following permissions for your API key:

- **Connect to Third-party Applications:** Choose **Bitsgap** as the application name.

- **Permissions:**
  
  - **Read-Write** option.
  - **Unified Trading - on** for spot and futures markets.
  - **Unified Trading - Contract:** Enable **Orders** and **Positions**.
  - **Unified Trading - USDC Contracts:** Enable **USDC Derivatives Trading** (optional).
  - **Unified Trading - SPOT:** Enable **Trade**.
  - **Block Trade:** Disabled.
  - **Assets - Wallet:** Disable **Account transfer** and **Subaccount transfer**.

Once configured, click **\[Submit]**.

**6. Pass Security Verification**

Enter the email verification and 2FA codes to complete the security verification.

**7. Copy Your API Key and Secret Key**

Once the API key is created, copy the **API Key** and **Secret Key**. Store them securely as you will need them to complete the connection with Bitsgap. You will not be able to see these keys again once you click **Understood**.

**8. Go to** [**Bitsgap &gt; My Exchanges**](https://app.bitsgap.com/my-exchanges)

Log into your Bitsgap account, navigate to the **My Exchanges** page, and click **\[Add new exchange]**.

**4. Match API Key Permissions**

Choose a name for your API key, so it’s easy to identify that it’s connected to your Bitsgap account. Then, configure the following permissions:

- **Portfolio:** Default.
- **View:** Enabled (to allow viewing of your portfolio).
- **Trade:** Enabled (to allow placing trades).
- **Transfer:** Disabled (prevents access to your funds for withdrawals or deposits).
- **IP whitelist:** Leave empty (default setting).

After configuring the permissions, click **\[Create & Download]** to generate the API key.

**5. Pass the Verification**

Complete the 2FA process by clicking **\[Complete 2-factor authentication]** and entering your **SMS verification code**.

**6. Copy Your API Key and Secret Key**

After the API key is created, a window will display both the **API Key** and **Secret Key**. Copy these and store them securely (e.g., in a password manager).

**8. Select Coinbase and Enter API Information:**

- Select **Coinbase** from the list of exchanges.

**9. Connection Check**

After successful connection, you should see **Coinbase** listed as a connected exchange with a **Connected** status. Your available trading balance will also be visible in your Bitsgap account.

### Steps to Create and Set Up the Coinbase Advanced Perpetuals API Key

‼️ **Important.** Coinbase Futures is not supported in the United States. 

**1. Log into your [Coinbase account](https://advanced.coinbase.com/join/7PG93GF) or create a new account.**

**2. Enable futures trading if it's not enabled yet.**  
The availability of futures depends on your jurisdiction. In general, you will need to complete certain requirements, such as knowledge checks, address verification, and ensuring that you have USDC or the applicable collateral in your account. You can learn more about it [here](https://help.coinbase.com/en/coinbase/trading-and-funding/derivatives/pf-get-started).

**3. Navigate to the Portfolio section**

After enabling futures, you'll see Perpetuals under the Portfolio section.  
If you don’t see it, it means that this feature hasn’t been enabled or that trading Perpetuals is not available in your location.

**5. Create a New API Key**

Click on the **\[Create API Key]** button to generate a new API key.

**6. Match API Key Permissions**

Choose a name for your API key, so it’s easy to identify that it’s connected to your Bitsgap account. Then, configure the following permissions:

- **Portfolio:** Perpetuals.
- **View:** Enabled (to allow viewing of your portfolio).
- **Trade:** Enabled (to allow placing trades).
- **Transfer:** Disabled (prevents access to your funds for withdrawals or deposits).
- **IP whitelist:** Leave empty (default setting).

After configuring the permissions, click **\[Create & Download]** to generate the API key.

**7. Pass the Verification**

Complete the 2FA process by clicking **\[Complete 2-factor authentication]** and entering your **SMS verification code**.

**8. Copy Your API Key and Secret Key**

After the API key is created, a window will display both the **API Key** and **Secret Key**. Copy these and store them securely (e.g., in a password manager).

**9. Go to [Bitsgap &gt; My Exchanges](https://app.bitsgap.com/my-exchanges)**

Log into your **Bitsgap** account and navigate to the **My Exchanges** page. Then, click **\[Add new exchange]**.

**10. Select Coinbase Futures and Enter API Information:**  
In the pop-up window, do the following:

- Select **Coinbase Futures** from the list of exchanges.
- Paste your **API Key** and **Secret Key** into the appropriate fields.
- Click **\[Connect]**.

### Steps to Create and Set Up the Crypto.com API Key

**1. Log in to [Crypto.com](https://crypto.com/exch/c94y93jz2c) Exchange**

Log into your [Crypto.com exchange](https://crypto.com/exch/c94y93jz2c) account or create a new one if you don’t already have one.

**2. Go to the API Page**

From your account dashboard, navigate to **Settings** → **API keys**.

**3. Enable 2FA**

To create an API key, enable **Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)** from the **Security** page. This additional security step is required by Crypto.com to proceed with the API key creation process.

**4. Create an API Key**

In the **API keys** section, click on the **\[Create a new API key]** button to begin the process.

**5. Label Your API Key**

Give your API key a meaningful name, such as "Bitsgap" so you can easily identify it later. Then, enter the **2FA code** to generate the API key.

**6. Go to [Bitsgap &gt; My Exchanges](https://app.bitsgap.com/my-exchanges)**

Log into your **Bitsgap** account and navigate to the **My Exchanges** page. Click **\[Add new exchange]**.

**7. Select Crypto.com from the List and Copy Bitsgap IP Addresses**

In the Bitsgap platform, select **Crypto.com** from the list of exchanges. Then, click on the **Copy** icon to copy the trusted IP addresses provided by Bitsgap. Save these IPs somewhere safe (e.g., in a notepad) as you will need them when setting up your API permissions.

**8. Return to Crypto.com and Match API Permissions**

Go back to the **Crypto.com API key page**, and configure the following permissions:

- **Can Read:** Enabled (this is active by default).
- **Enable Trading:** Turned on.
- **IP Whitelist:** Insert the IP addresses copied from the **My Exchanges** tab. You can add multiple IP addresses by clicking the plus icon for each one.
- Once done, click **\[Save]** to finalize the permissions.

**9. Go Back to [Bitsgap &gt; My Exchanges](https://app.bitsgap.com/my-exchanges) and Enter Your API Info**

In the **Connect New Exchange** window on the Bitsgap platform, do the following:

- Choose **Crypto.com**.
- Paste your **API key** and **Secret key**.
- Click **\[Connect]**.

**10. Connection Check**

If everything is configured correctly, **Crypto.com** will be added to your connected exchanges list with the "Connected" status. You will also see your trading balance reflected on your account.

### How to Replace an API Key

If you need to replace your **Crypto.com API key**, follow these steps:

**1. Go to [Bitsgap &gt; My Exchanges](https://app.bitsgap.com/my-exchanges) Pag**e

Navigate to the **My Exchanges** page in your **Bitsgap** account. Find your Crypto.com API key, click the **\[More]** button (three dots) in the top right corner, and select **\[Replace API key]**.

**2. Renew the API Key**

Insert your new **API key** and **Secret key** into the provided fields, then click **\[Replace]** to update your settings.

- **Note:** Make sure to add the trusted IP addresses to your new API key.

**3. Check the Connection Status**

Once your new API key is updated, you should see **Crypto.com** listed in your connected exchanges with the "Connected" status and your trading balance available.

How to Create and Set Up Crypto.com API Key

This guide walks you through setting up your Evedex API key to connect with the [Bitsgap platform](https://bitsgap.com/crypto-trading-bot). Evedex offers two methods for API setup: **Evedex Fast API** and **manual connection**. Choose the method that best suits your needs.

**Note:** Evedex is available **only for Futures trading.**

### **Evedex Fast Connect**

The Evedex Fast API uses OAuth 2.0 for quick and secure integration with Bitsgap.   
Fast Connect allows you to securely connect your Evedex account to Bitsgap without creating or managing API keys manually.

**Important!** To ensure this feature works properly, you need to have some funds on your balance to pay the blockchain fees. 

**1. Go to My Exchanges in Bitsgap**

Log in to your Bitsgap account, navigate to [**My Exchanges**](https://app.bitsgap.com/my-exchanges), and click **\[Add new exchange]**.

**2. Select Evedex and Fast Connect**

- From the list of available exchanges, select **Evedex** and choose **Fast Connect**.
- Click **\[Connect]** to proceed.

**3. Authorize permissions on Evedex**

- You will be redirected to the Evedex authorization page.
- Log in to your Evedex account if prompted.
- Review and approve the requested permissions. These permissions allow Bitsgap to place and manage trades on your behalf but **do not provide access to your login credentials**.
- When creating an API key, a transaction will be signed in a blockchain with your wallet. **This step is mandatory** - without signing, the exchange cannot generate the private trading key, and the API will not work.

**4. Connection check**

- After authorization, you will be redirected back to Bitsgap.
- Evedex will appear on the **My Exchanges** page with the **Connected** status, and your available trading balance will be displayed.

**Note**: You must have funds available in your Evedex account for the connection to be established successfully.

### **Manual Connection**

If you prefer manual configuration, follow these steps:

**1. Log in to your Evedex account**  
Log in to your [Evedex account](https://exchange.evedex.com/en-US/), or [create a new account](https://invite.evedex.com/?code=5rr4p8ah) if you don’t have one yet.

**2. Open account settings**  
Click on your **profile icon** in the top-right corner and select **Settings**.

**3. Enable One-Click Trading**  
In the [**Settings** tab](https://exchange.evedex.com/en-US/settings), toggle **One-Click Trading** to **On**.

**4. Go to the API tab**  
Open [the **API** tab](https://exchange.evedex.com/en-US/settings?tab=api) and click the **\[+ Add API key]** button.

**5. Create an API key**

- Enter a name for your API key.
- Set the expiration time — we recommend choosing the **“Endless”** option for uninterrupted access.
- Click **\[Create]** to generate the key.
- Copy your **API key** and store it securely.

**6. Export your wallet’s private key**

- Go to the [**Security** tab](https://exchange.evedex.com/en-US/settings?tab=security).
- Find the **Private key** section.

- Save this **wallet key** securely.

Once you’ve created your API key and copied your wallet key, connect your Evedex account to Bitsgap.

**7. Connect to Bitsgap**

- Log in to your [**Bitsgap**](https://bitsgap.com/sign-in) account &gt; navigate to **My Exchanges &gt;** Click **\[Add new exchange]**.

- Choose **Evedex** from the list, enter your **API key** and **wallet key** and click **\[Connect]**.

**8. Verify connection**

- After connecting, confirm that **Evedex** appears in the **My Exchanges** list with the **Connected** status.
- Your available trading balance should now be visible.

### **Trading Account vs. Smart Account**

Evedex operates with two types of accounts that work together when you trade through Bitsgap:

- **Smart Account:** This is your on-chain wallet that stores your funds. It’s linked to your wallet provider (such as MetaMask or WalletConnect).
- **Trading Account:** This account is created when you start trading on the Evedex exchange. It’s a sub-account on the platform where your trading operations occur.

When you place trades, funds are **automatically transferred** from your **Smart Account** to your **Trading Account**, so you don’t need to move them manually. After execution or cancellation, remaining funds return to your Smart Account automatically. **Important!** To see your balance on Bitsgap, you need to transfer the funds from Smart account to Trading account. 

**For a manual transfer, follow these steps:**

1\. Click your **profile icon** in the top-right corner and select [**Transfer**](https://exchange.evedex.com/?tab=overview#transfer).

2\. Choose the **Smart Account** as the **source account** and the **Trading Account** as the **destination**.

3\. Enter the **amount** you’d like to transfer and click **Transfer** to complete the process.

Important Note: The key type should be **API v4 Key**. This key type is essential for integration with Bitsgap.

**3. Matching API Key Permissions**  
Set up the necessary permissions for your API key. Make sure to apply the following:

- **IP permissions** – to be configured **later**.
- **API Key Type** – Set as **API v4 Key**.
- **Account Type** – Choose **Trading Account**.
- **Permissions** – Select **Spot Trade** and **Read and Write**.

**4. Inserting a Security Code**  
For security purposes, you will need to complete the verification process:

- Enter your **2FA code**.

- Fill in your **Fund Password**.  
  This step ensures that your API key creation is secure and authenticated.

**5. Copying Your API Key and Secret Key**  
Once the API key is generated, make sure to copy both your **API key** and **Secret key**.  
Keep these keys in a secure location, as they are needed to link your Gate account to the Bitsgap platform. Do not share these keys with anyone, as they provide access to your account.

**6. Connecting API to Bitsgap**  
Now, log into your Bitsgap account and go to the **My Exchanges** page.

- Click \[Add new exchange] and select **Gate** from the list of available exchanges.

- A pop-up window will appear where you can paste your **API key** and **Secret key**. Once entered, click \[Connect].

**7. Checking Your Connection Status**  
After successfully connecting your Gate API key to Bitsgap, check the status of the connection.  
If everything is set up correctly, you will see **Gate** listed in your connected exchanges with a **Connected** status. You should also see your available trading balance.

**2. Creating and Naming Your API Key**  
To create your API key, follow these steps:

- Click on **Account** in the top-right corner of the Gemini homepage.

Important Note: Ensure the API key is linked to your **Primary Account** for proper functionality.

**3. Matching API Key Permissions**  
Configure your API permissions as follows:

- **Auditor** – Off
- **Fund Management** – Off
- **Trading** – On

Additional Notes:

- Do not require a session heartbeat.
- Use a primary account for setup.
- IP allowlist - Unrestricted

After assigning permissions, save your changes and click \[Create API key].

Additional settings:

- **Key Expiration**: Off
- **Query Start/End Date**: Off
- **Custom Nonce Window**: Off

Once configured, click \[Generate Key].

**6. Save Your API and Private Keys**

- Copy the generated API key and Private key.

**1. Log in to Kraken Pro**

Sign in to your [Kraken Pro](https://pro.kraken.com/) account. If you do not have an account yet, create a new one.

**2. Navigate to the API Page**

- Click the **profile icon** in the top-right corner.
- Select **Settings**.

**3. Create a New API Key**

- Open the **Connections & API** tab to manage your API keys.
- Under the **Futures trading API** section, click **\[Create API key]**.

**4. Set API Key Permissions**

- **General API:** Full access
- **Withdrawal API:** No access
- **IP Address Restrictions:** Off

**5. Save Your API and Private Keys**

Kraken will generate a **Public (API) Key** and a **Private (Secret) Key.** Copy both keys and store them securely. You will need them for the Bitsgap connection.

**Note:** For security reasons, Kraken will not show the Secret Key again.

**6. Connect Kraken Futures to Bitsgap**

- Log in to your Bitsgap account.
- Go to the [**My Exchanges**](https://app.bitsgap.com/my-exchanges) page.
- Click **\[Add new exchange]**.
- Select **Kraken Futures** from the list.
- Paste your **Public (API) Key** and **Private (Secret) Key** into the corresponding fields.
- Click **\[Connect]**.

- Choose Kucoin from the list and select the **Fast Connect** option. Click \[Connect].

**5. Label and Configure API Permissions**

- Chose Link Third-party applications and select Bitsgap from the list.
- Name your API key for easy identification.
- Set a passphrase for the key (save this securely).
- Enable the following permissions:
  
  - **General**: On
  - **Spot Trading**: On
  - **Optional - Futures Trading**: On (if trading futures)
- All other permissions should remain disabled.
- Click \[Next]

**6. Complete Security Verification**

- Enter your trading password, and 2FA code. Confirm to create the API key.

**7. Save API Key and Secret Key**

- Copy your **API key** and **Secret key**. These are shown once; store them securely.
- Click \[Confirm]

**8. Connect to Bitsgap**

- Return to Bitsgap’s [**My Exchanges**](https://app.bitsgap.com/my-exchanges) page.
- In the pop-up window select Kucoin and input your API key, secret key, and passphrase.
- Click \[Connect].

**9. Connection Check**

- Verify Kucoin is listed under **My Exchanges** with a **Connected** status and available trading balance.
- When connecting your account, **KuCoin Australia** and **KuCoin Europe** will be labeled as **“KuCoin AU”** and **“KuCoin EU”** respectively, while the global version will appear simply as **“KuCoin”.**

This guide walks you through setting up your OKX API key to connect with the [Bitsgap platform](https://bitsgap.com/crypto-trading-bot). OKX offers two methods for API setup: **OKX Fast API** and **manual connection**. Choose the method that best suits your needs.

### OKX Fast API

The OKX Fast API uses OAuth 2.0 for quick and secure integration with Bitsgap.

1. **Optional: Configure Futures Account**
   
   - Log in to your [OKX account](https://www.okx.com/join/bitsgap).

- Go to **Trade &gt; Futures** and click the settings icon.

- Ensure **Account mode** is set to “Single-currency margin” and **Position mode** to “One-way mode.”

- For futures trading, we recommend using **Isolated margin mode** for risk mitigation.



2. **Go to Bitsgap &gt; My Exchanges**
   
   - Log in to Bitsgap, navigate to the **My Exchanges** page, and click \[Add new exchange].

3. **Select OKX and Fast Connect**
   
   - Select OKX from the list and choose **Fast Connect**. Click \[Connect].

4. **Authorize Permissions**
   
   - Enter your OKX credentials on the OKX website and log in.

- Authorize Bitsgap’s requested permissions. These permissions allow trading but do not grant access to personal or credential data.



5. **Connection Check**
   
   - Once authorized, you will be redirected to Bitsgap.
   - OKX will appear in [**My Exchanges**](https://app.bitsgap.com/my-exchanges) with the **Connected** status, displaying your trading balance.

If you prefer manual configuration, follow these steps:

1. **Log in to OKX**
   
   - Access your [OKX account](https://www.okx.com/) or create a [new one](https://www.okx.com/join/bitsgap).

2. **Optional: Configure Futures Account**
   
   - If trading futures, configure as described in the [Fast API](#h_01JHYW2DPFPM9FDRETRVNC9896) steps above.
3. **Go to the API Page**
   
   - Navigate to **API Management** from your account settings.

4. **Create a V5 API Key**
   
   - Click \[Create V5 API Key].

- Select **Linking third-party apps** as the purpose and choose **Bitsgap** from the list.

5. **Label and Configure API Permissions**
   
   - Name your API key for identification.
   - Create a **Passphrase** and save it securely.
   - Enable the following permissions:
     
     - **Read**: On
     - **Trade**: On

- Complete security verification and confirm the setup.



6. **Copy API and Secret Keys**
   
   - Save the API key and Secret key securely.

7. **Connect to Bitsgap**

### Steps to Create and Set Up the Poloniex API Key

**1. Log in to [Poloniex](https://poloniex.com/)**

Access your Poloniex account or create a new one if needed.

**2. Go to the API Management Page**

From the top bar in your Poloniex account, click on your profile icon and navigate to the **API keys** page.

**3. Go to [Bitsgap &gt; My Exchanges](https://app.bitsgap.com/my-exchanges) Page**

Log in to your Bitsgap account and go to the **My Exchanges** page. Click the \[Add new exchange] button to continue.

**4. Select Poloniex and Copy Bitsgap IP Addresses**

- From the list of exchanges, choose **Poloniex**.
- Click the **Copy** icon to save the list of **trusted IPs**. Keep this information secure, as you’ll need it to configure your API permissions later.

**5. Create an API Key in Poloniex**

Return to Poloniex and click on the **Create API** button to generate a new API key.

**6. Label the API Key and Configure Permissions**

- Give your API key a label that helps you identify it as connected to Bitsgap.
- Set the following permissions:
  
  - **Spot and margin trading**: On
  - **Spot and Margin Trading Pair Whitelist**: No restrictions
  - **IP Access Restrictions**: Enable and restrict access to the trusted IPs you copied earlier.
- Click **Confirm** to save your IP addresses and then hit **Save** to complete this step.
- **Note**: Ensure all other permissions are disabled for security purposes.

**7. Pass the Security Verification**

Poloniex will send you a verification email. Enter the verification code from the email and click \[Submit].

**8. Copy Your API Key and Secret Key**

After creating the API key, copy both your **API key** and **Secret key**. Store them securely, as you will need them for the next steps.

**9. Go Back to [Bitsgap &gt; My Exchanges](https://app.bitsgap.com/my-exchanges)**

- Paste your **API key** and **Secret key** in the respective fields.
- Click \[Connect].

**10. Connection Check**

- If the connection is successful, you will see **Poloniex** added to your list of connected exchanges in Bitsgap.
- Your trading balance will be visible, and the status will show as **Connected**.

Log in to your existing [WhiteBIT account](https://whitebit.com/referral/cc4959ae-b944-4ae3-910f-f068ce3348f2) or create a [new one](https://whitebit.com/referral/cc4959ae-b944-4ae3-910f-f068ce3348f2) if necessary.

**2. Go to the API Page**

From the top-right corner of your account, navigate to **Settings** and select the **API** section.

**3. Create an API Key**

In the **API keys** section, click the **Generate API Key** button.

**4. Verify API Generation**

- Before generating the API key, ensure that **2FA (Two-Factor Authentication)** is enabled for your WhiteBIT account (this can be done in the **Security** section of your settings).
- Enter the **2FA code** from your authenticator app to proceed with the API creation.

**5. Copy Your API Key and Secret Key**

**6. Name Your API Key and Set Permissions**

- Give your API key a recognizable name so you can easily identify it as connected to your Bitsgap account.
- Set the following permissions for the API key:
- **Deposit**: Off
- **Withdrawal**: Off
- **Balance Transfer**: Off
- **Wallet Balance and History**: On
- **Codes**: Off
- **Trade Balance and Order History**: On
- **Order Management**: On

Once configured, click **Confirm**, and enter the 2FA code from your authenticator app again.

**7. Activate Your API Key**

Toggle the button next to your API key name to activate it.

**8. Go to [Bitsgap &gt; My Exchanges](https://app.bitsgap.com/my-exchanges)**

- Log in to your Bitsgap account and navigate to the [**My Exchanges**](https://app.bitsgap.com/my-exchanges) page.
- Click the **\[Add new exchange]** button.

**9. Select WhiteBIT and Enter API Information**

- From the list of exchanges, select **WhiteBIT**.
- A window will appear asking you to enter your **API key** and **Secret key**. Paste the information you copied earlier and click **Connect**.

**10. Connection Check**

- Once the connection is successful, you will see **WhiteBIT** listed among your connected exchanges, with the status marked as **Connected**.
- Your trading balance will also be visible.
