Possible issues when paying with cryptocurrency
Most often, issues with payments occur for two reasons:
- The payment was not received within 20 minutes;
- The wrong amount was sent.
If you are using a wallet on a cryptocurrency exchange, then it may take more than 20 minutes for the exchange to transfer funds when the payment window has already expired. Therefore, Bitsgap recommends making transfers from other wallets. For a more detailed explanation, please refer to this article:

The commission is always deducted from the amount indicated for the withdrawal, so the amount of the payment must be adjusted. Pay attention to the “Receive Amount”; this amount must match the one indicated for payment in your Coingate invoice.
Make sure that the network is matched with the network you chose on the Coingate form. Coingate will not have access to these funds if networks do not match, and they will be irrevocably lost.
What happens if the payment fails?
If the payment is not received within 20 minutes and/or the incorrect amount is credited, then your payment will not be accepted. The Coingate terminal will set the payment status as “Expired” and within 24 hours you will receive a link to your e-mail where you can request a refund. Coingate will issue a refund within 48 hours of your request. To purchase the plan, you will need to repeat all steps above.
