New Trading Experience: Explore Our Latest UI/UX, Bot Performance, and Adding Investment Changes!

Our team works hard, striving to make Bitsgap even better for spot and futures bot trading. We are excited to introduce a series of updates that will enhance your overall trading experience. These updates are designed to make the Bots page more advanced, informative, and intuitive for traders.

What’s new?

To make the bot statistics more versatile and bring your trading to the next level, we have released the following features:

Bot profit chart

In the bot “Performance” window, you can find the bot profit graph. You can use it to understand how your bot generates realized bot profit on different timeframes. Along with the overall bot profit value, the chart includes the line and the percentage value of the average daily profit (Avg. daily), calculated over the entire period since you launched your bot.

You can see the bot profit results either with a line chart (shows how the bot profit gets accumulated) or a bar graph (shows the realized profit for the selected interval). To switch between the charts, click on the little graph icon in the top right corner:

To evaluate the bot results for different time intervals, the following timeframes are available in the chart:

  • 1d - hourly chart (24 bars);
  • 1w - daily chart for a 1-week period (7 bars);
  • 1m - daily chart for a 1-month period (31 bars);
  • All - bars by months; if the bot has operated for less than a month, the chart is displayed as for 1 month.

Asset allocation diagram

In the “Performance” window, you can also find the “Asset allocation” diagram. It shows the amount of bot traded funds and accumulated bot profit:

  • Profit - the total amount of realized profit earned by the bot;
  • Position - the current position volume, i.e., position size in the base currency;
  • Position % - the unrealized profit or loss percentage;
  • Orders - the amount of quote currency in the open orders;
  • Asset value (inside the diagram) - current total value of bot assets, including the bot profit (Profit + Position + Orders).

You can check the traded assets ratio either with the pie chart or line diagram. To switch between the diagrams, click on the little line or circle icon in the top right corner:

Add investment to existing bots

You have been waiting for an opportunity to add funds to a running bot, so we are thrilled to introduce the “Add funds” feature.

With the “Add funds” option, you can add more funds to an active bot and increase its investment without adding more grid levels or restarting the bot.

You can adjust your bot investment either by clicking on the plus icon next to the Current value column:

Or by opening the [Bot Actions] list and choosing the [Add Funds] option:

What’s changed?

We keep working on our platform and making it more straightforward and insightful to ensure the best trading experience for you. Now, we'll walk you through the changes in our platform, illustrating the transition from the previous version to the current interface.

Bot overview

We have rearranged the bot overview so that you can get a clear understanding of your active and closed bot statistics at a glance.

1. Design update

We have changed the design of the bot overview to make it more informative and minimalistic. Before, the bot tabs used to look like this:

Now you can enjoy an airy and transparent layout of the bot overview:

2. Bot description

Before, you could check only your trading pair and bot type:

Untitled (6).png

Now you get more comprehensive information about your trading strategy:

  • trading pair;
  • market (spot or futures);
  • bot type (GRID, BTD, DCA, COMBO, or DCA Futures);
  • strategy direction (sideways, long, or short).

3. Bot value

Previously, you only had the option to see the current value of your bot funds - how much the bot traded funds cost at the market price.

Untitled (7).png

With the interface changes, in the “Current value” column, you can:

  • add funds to your GRID or BTD Bots with the plus button;
  • adjust the Isolated margin amount for COMBO and DCA Futures Bots with the plus button.

For futures bots, there is also the “Margin ratio” indicator, showing the ratio of maintenance margin funds to all funds. The bot position will be liquidated if the “Margin ratio” value reaches 100%.

4. Bot results

We used to display the bot results, focusing more on the realized bot profit but also giving you more general data about your bot performance with Total PNL.

Untitled (9).png

In the new bot view, we have rearranged the performance columns. You first see the Total PNL metric, showing the overall results of your bot considering both the accumulated bot profit and market fluctuations. If the Total PNL value is positive, it will appear as green. If the result is negative, it will be highlighted in red. This way, you can track your bot results at a glance.

Further on, you can check the Bot profit and Average daily profit results and see how long your bot has been operating.

5. Transactions and trading time

Before, the bot view also included the bot operation time and the number of completed transactions.

This data has been moved under the “Performance” window, allowing you to focus mostly on the bot results when looking at the bot overview.

5. Bot orders

The “Performance” window also used to include the [Bot orders] button, which would open a window with the info about your open orders and completed trades:

6. Bot actions

Previously, the “Bot actions” list included the options to modify and close the active bots. Also, there were features allowing you to adjust the margin, average or close the current position for the futures bots.

With the recent update, we have significantly improved the functionality and usability of the bot's interface. The new design provides quick and easy access to information about your trading bots. New features such as the bot profit chart, the asset allocation diagram and the “Add funds” feature provide more insights about the bot performance and allow adjusting your trading strategy in a few clicks. This way, you can view more comprehensive bot statistics and optimize your strategies efficiently, even in a high-paced trading environment.
