Over the past week, our team has been actively working on optimizing colors and UI elements for both existing and new features, such as [Technicals](/kb/bitsgap/smart-trading-9837291387420-en/advanced-trading-techniques-9949367953436-en/technicals-9965725973404-en?locale=en).

## Fixed

Continuing to make Bitsgap the most reliable and stable trading platform, we allocated our effort to eliminating some critical bugs this week! Here is the complete list of the top fixes:

### Connecting Exchanges

- Fixed an error when adding a Kucoin key with the Oauth attribute. This makes adding the Kucoin exchange API key with extended settings possible.

### DCA Bot

- Fixed an issue where previously used bot settings were not reset when opening a new bot creation form.

### Technicals

- An issue has been fixed when switching the timeframe on a chart did not switch the Technicals timeframe.

### All Bots

- Fixed issue for Custom bot when it was impossible to set the price step via the "Fix it!" option.

## Improved

The main work this week was fixing issues and optimizing the DCA bot launch interface. Other improvements were made in the area of localization of the entire interface and font changes of some design components. The bot page interface has also been improved for different screen resolutions.

## Fixed

Continuing to make Bitsgap the most reliable and stable trading platform, we allocated our effort to eliminating some critical bugs this week! Here is the complete list of the top fixes:

### Smart Trades

- The text while editing the Take Profit field is now visible.

### DCA Bot

- For PnL calculation, now we are using the Take Profit price against the Current price when placing an initial order. Before, we were using the weighted average price.
- When choosing a price step, the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons function and change the step.
- Fixed an issue when the system shows an error while switching between Fixed and DCA modes on the Stop-Loss step and does not allow to continue with setting up a bot.

### All Bots

- The number of available strategies in demo mode now matches the number of available strategies in the real mode.

This week, our team has been actively optimizing the recently released Technicals feature and improving the DCA bot's performance.

We enable the automated change of the [Technicals](/kb/bitsgap/smart-trading-9837291387420-en/advanced-trading-techniques-9949367953436-en/technicals-9965725973404-en?locale=en) timeframe from the major highlights to match the selected timeframe on the graph.

We have implemented the rounding down system for the [DCA bot](https://bitsgap4907.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/10039300255900) to increase the accuracy of placing DCA orders to maximize the average price.

### DCA Bot

- Field Min. TP with DCA orders is now static, and the data does not change in live mode.
- Canceled orders are no longer visible when the bot is in the waiting status.

### All Bots

- Fixed an issue where the system showed the approximate investment value in the quote currency instead of the user's selected currency.
- The rounding of the data in the Price and Amount columns in the bot's view window is changed to match the exchange format.

### Introducing Technical Summary

At Bitsgap, we do anything to get you more confident while trading, so we are introducing a new instrument called [Technicals](/kb/bitsgap/smart-trading-9837291387420-en/advanced-trading-techniques-9949367953436-en/technicals-9965725973404-en?locale=en) (or Technicals Summary).

You can use technical analysis, fundamental analysis, or a combination of both. And you will likely use a variety of indicators to help you decide when to buy and sell. Or how to configure your [DCA](https://bitsgap4907.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/10039300255900) and [GRID](https://bitsgap4907.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/10038504467100) trading bot.

That's where the Bitsgap Technicals tool comes in. It combines and averages the values of the most popular oscillators and indicators, so you don't have to do all the math yourself.

### Technicals: Under the Hood

The main concept of this amazing feature is to scan the 27 indicators and oscillators: Stochastic, Awesome Oscillator, different Moving Averages, and so on. The Technicals summarize their Buy, Sell, and Neutral ratings up, averaging them into one intuitive gauge.

We made the interface of this widget as intuitive and straightforward as possible. You will easily find it in the platform’s interface (check the “Trading” tab), and there are just five scale divisions that show the following:

- **Strong Buy -** The majority of indicators generate Buy signals.
- **Buy -** Most indicators generate Buy signals.
- **Neutral -** The number of Buy and Sell signals is approximately the same (50/50).
- **Sell -** Most indicators generate Sell signals.
- **Strong Sell -** The majority of indicators generate Sell signals.

### Check Out Your Strategy and Learn More

With Technicals, you also get an at-a-glance overview of the indicators’ averaged values through the different timeframes, up to one day. It will help you to estimate the effectiveness of your trading strategy for the additional time periods when trading any asset from [Bitcoin](https://bitsgap.com/crypto-trading-bot/bitcoin) to [Solana](https://bitsgap.com/crypto-trading-bot/solana). This way, you can massively increase the analytical reasoning behind your choices.

### DCA Bot Improvements

To improve the understanding of the [DCA Bot](https://bitsgap4907.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/10039300255900) creation process, the "Price change" label description on the 4th and 5th steps (adjusting Stop Loss and Take Profit orders) was changed to the "First order price change". Thus, we hope that it becomes much more explicit that this price is related to the initial order and not the combined price of the entry where all completed DCA orders.

### More informative notifications for demo exchanges

We have also updated notifications for demo exchanges. Their appearance and text to report any errors on demo trading are now shown more accurately and noticeably.

### Technical updates

On the technical additions! The data transfer within the platform has been optimized, allowing us to increase the loading speed of the bot creation widget and significantly hasten up their launch.

### Buy the Dip Bot rework

The [BTD Bot](https://bitsgap4907.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/10045348481052) has received the most significant change of increasing the minimum grid step to 0.5%. The reason behind this decision is that at the fewer grid steps, we noticed that some bots on particular pairs could not place orders in such a way that will allow accumulating the base currency from ongoing operations (due to the trading rules of the exchanges).

Now, the minimum grid limitation will allow us to place orders respecting the trading rules and, as a result, start to accumulate more significant profit in the base currency.

### DCA Bot

- Fixed the validation of the first step of creating a bot when it was impossible to continue with configuration because of the missing error message.
- Fixed the validation of the fifth step of creating a bot in the Trailing Stop field. The system will highlight the area if the bot couldn't use the initial settings to activate this function.
- Fixed an error where canceled DCA orders were marked as filled.

### BTD Bot

- Fixed an issue where the bot created a grid above the specified price.

### All Bots

- The Realized P&L column now shows the result of the particular day instead of the accumulated total profit of the bot.

### Portfolio

- Fixed an issue where the portfolio page overloads the device's RAM and becomes unresponsive.

Continuing our development, we plan to rework the launcher of our [Grid and DCA bots](https://bitsgap.com/crypto-trading-bot). At the same time, we are designing a new add-on for the grid bot, which we are sure most of our users will like. Our following release notes will tell you more about the upcoming product expansion.

## Improved

This week we have focused on improving the [DCA bot](https://bitsgap4907.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/10039300255900), and as a result, we were able to increase the accuracy of the price calculation for executing the Take Profit order. There are also minor improvements in the UI/UX interfaces, which increase the overall speed of interaction with the interface.
