Our agents will receive your request and forward it to the payment team. It will usually take up to 5 working days to release the payment from the gateway back to your account.</p>

<p>To prevent that from happening again, please <strong>do not send your payments directly from cryptocurrency exchange wallets</strong>. And here is why:</p>

<li>Your exchange takes time to process your withdrawal request, which is longer than the 20 minutes window.</li>

<p>Use any cloud wallets as an intermediate, for instance, <a href="https://www.blockchain.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.blockchain.com/.</a> First, you withdraw funds from your exchange account to the medium wallet and wait for them to come. And only then make a payment to Bitsgap.</p>

<p>Some currencies have different blockchain networks you can make a transaction over. Please, make sure that the selected and used networks match. Otherwise, funds will be irrevocably lost. When you selected the network, click <strong>[Continue].</strong></p>

<p>During the next step, Coingate will indicate the required amount that you will have to transfer from your cryptocurrency wallet; and the receiving address. Copy the whole address or click the <strong>[Copy]</strong> button.</p>

<p>Most often, issues with payments occur for two reasons:</p>

<li>The wrong amount was sent.</li>

<p>If you are using a wallet on a cryptocurrency exchange, then it may take more than 20 minutes for the exchange to transfer funds when the payment window has already expired. Therefore, Bitsgap recommends making transfers from other wallets. <h3 id="h_388bafed42">An example of a withdrawal error from the exchange wallet</h3>

<p>The commission is <strong>always</strong> deducted from the amount indicated for the withdrawal, so the amount of the payment must be adjusted. Pay attention to the “<strong>Receive Amount</strong>”; this amount must match the one indicated for payment in your Coingate invoice.</p>

<p>Make sure that the network is matched with the network you chose on the Coingate form. Coingate will not have access to these funds if networks do not match, and <strong>they will be irrevocably lost</strong>.</p>

<h2 id="h_6efb801903">What happens if the payment fails?</h2>

<p>If the payment is not received within 20 minutes and/or the incorrect amount is credited, then your payment will not be accepted. The Coingate terminal will set the payment status as “Expired” and within 24 hours you will receive a link to your e-mail where you can request a refund. Coingate will issue a refund within 48 hours of your request. To purchase the plan, you will need to repeat all steps above.</p>
