<p>To ensure the security of your exchange account, API keys without IP access restrictions will not be accepted by the system. To continue using Bitsgap with your API keys, updating the API key's permissions to include a list of trusted IP addresses is necessary.</p>

<p>The system will generate a new API key for your Binance or OKX account using “the Bitsgap_com” name and connect it to Bitsgap automatically. The created API key will contain all the necessary settings required for trading.</p>

<p>To set up a new API key, click&nbsp;<strong>[Create API]</strong> and then give it a&nbsp;<strong>descriptive name</strong>, so you can easily recognize that this key connects to your Bitsgap account.</p>

<p>Now, it's necessary to edit the restrictions on your API key. This will allow our platform to process your trading activity in your exchange account.</p>

<p class="notes"><strong>Attention<br></strong>Before editing your API permissions, be sure to copy the&nbsp;<strong>API key</strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Secret Key</strong>&nbsp;somewhere safe. Otherwise, after changing API key permissions, the Secret key becomes hidden, and you will need to start over again.</p>
