Setting up a **LOOP Bot** is easy and straightforward.

### **Step-by-Step Configuration:**

1. **Log In to Bitsgap**:
   
   - Access your account on the Bitsgap login page.
2. **Navigate to the Trading Bots Section**:
   
   - Click **\[Start new bot]** in the top right corner and select **LOOP Bot**.
3. **Set Parameters**:
   
   - **Exchange**: Choose your exchange (e.g., OKX).
   - **Trading Pair**: Pick your preferred trading pair (e.g., BTC/USDT).
   - **Investment Amount**: Allocate total funds for the bot.
4. **Choose Quick Setup or Manual Adjustments:**
   
   - Quick Setup: Choose between Short-term, Mid-term, or Long-term configurations.
   - Manual Adjustments: Set Order Distance (percentage differences between grid levels) and Number of Orders (between 10 to 40 grid levels). The minimum and maximum prices will be adjusted automatically.
5. **Risk Management**:
   
   - Take Profit: Set a Take Profit (Total % PnL or Price Target) to automatically close the bot once the target is reached.

**Note**Stop Loss is not available for Loop bot.

6. **Activate the Bot**:



- - Review settings and click **\[Start Bot]** to activate.

Managing and modifying your **LOOP Bot** is essential for adapting to changing market conditions.

### **Modify Your Bot:**

1\. On the Bots Page Select the bot you'd like to modify &gt; Click Bot Actions &gt; Modify bot. Only Take Profit can be adjusted:

\- Total % PnL: Take profit based on the total percentage of profit when the price hits a certain level in either the base or quote currency.

\- Price Target: Set the TP to trigger when the price reaches a specific level.

2\. Save changes by clicking \[Confirm].

**Note**Stop Loss, Trailing up, Trailing down and Add Funds features are not available for Loop bot. Bot automatically reinvests profit.

### **Stopping Your Bot:**

Click **\[Stop Bot]** and choose:

- - **Convert to Base Currency**: Sell quote currency at market price to buy back base currency.
  - **Convert to Quote Currency**: Sell base currency at market price to acquire quote currency.
  - **Keep Base and Quote Currency**: Close all orders and transfer the balances back to your account.

### **Restarting Your Bot:**

Navigate to the **History Tab**, select your bot, and click **\[Bot Actions &gt; Restart]** to reinitialize with updated settings.

The **LOOP Bot** is an automated trading tool designed for **position trading strategies** on the spot market. 

By placing buy and sell orders within a predefined range around a fixed **Entry Price**, the LOOP Bot enables traders to profit from market fluctuations without needing constant monitoring.

### **How does Loop bot work?**

The Loop Bot works around a fixed Entry price, which is set when the bot is launched and does not change during the bot's operation.

If the market price is higher than the Entry price after a sale at the “red level,” the bot will place a buy order below the Entry price. The entire volume from the sale is used to place the buy order at the next level.

#### **Example:**

**Launch the Bot**

- **Pair:** BTC/USDT
- **Start (Entry) price:** 50,000 USDT
- **Investment:** 10,000 USDT
- **High price:** 52,500 USDT
- **Low price:** 47,500 USDT
- **Order distance:** 1%
- **Order count:** 10 (5 up, 5 down)
- **Order size:** 1,000 USDT

**1. Price Increases -** price reaches 50,500 USDT**:**

- The bot sells 0.02 BTC for 1,010 USDT
- A new buy order of 1,010 USDT is placed below all existing orders (at 47,000 USDT)

**2. Price Decreases -** price drops to 49,500 USDT**:**

- The bot buys 0.0202 BTC for 1,000 USDT.
- This order fills, closing the gap created by the Sell order at 50,500 USDT.
- After that, a new Sell order is placed at the 50,500 USDT level with the same amount (0.0202 BTC).

Tracking the performance of your **LOOP Bot** is crucial for optimizing its results. Here's how to monitor its success:

### **Key Metrics in the Performance Window:**

- **Daily and Overall Profits**: View accumulated gains and losses.
- **Position PNL and Total PNL**: Track open and closed position performance.
- **Trading Time and Transactions**: Monitor the trading duration and number of trades completed.
- **Position Size and Liquidation Price**: Keep track of the risk exposure.

**Note**The absence of Bot profit in the Loop Bot is due to the bot's operating logic. All profits generated by the bot are automatically reinvested into opening new orders. As a result, Bot profit does not appear as a separate metric in the Bot list and Bot Performance Window.
