What Bitsgap AI Assistant can do for you?

Our AI Assistant is a user-friendly solution that can help you start a portfolio of GRID Bots in a few clicks. The Bitsgap unique algorithm analyzes your available balance and generates a list of personalized strategy recommendations. The algorithm includes filters and settings developed and tested over the last seven years.

Strategies for your future GRID Bots are selected only among USDT, USDC, EUR, USD, TRY, BTC, and ETH pairs. Based on the AI Assistant recommendations, you can run a portfolio that consists of bots on different trading pairs - such a diversified approach can mitigate risks and boost potential earnings in different market conditions.

How to use AI Assistant?

In this part, you will learn how to utilize our AI Assistant and launch your first AI portfolio. Please follow our step-by-step instructions below.

1. Select AI Assistant

To launch the API Assistant, click the [Start new bot] button in the Bots page's top menu.

In a pop-up window, select [AI assistant].

1.1. Learn more about AI Assistant

To start the AI Assistant, click the AI Assistant sign next to the [Start new bot button].

Now, you can familiarize yourself with the AI Assistant features in a pop-up window. Pro plan users can click the [Start] button to launch the AI Assistant immediately.

The Basic and Advanced plan users can launch bots with the AI Assistant, but with a limited number of active bots according to their plan and without the Take Profit option. To fully utilize the potential of our AI Assistant, you can click the [Upgrade to PRO] button in the “Meet AI Assistant” window and upgrade your plan to Pro.

2. Customize your strategy

On the right side of the screen, you will find a menu to configure your AI-generated GRID Bot portfolio. Here, you can choose the exchange, investment amount, and period.

Start by selecting an exchange where you will run your bots. The chosen exchange will be highlighted in blue.

Enter the exact investment value you want to operate with, or use the buttons below to specify the percentage based on your available balance.

Choose your portfolio strategy based on the investment term that suits your goals best:

• Short-term (Aggressive) - run your bots for 1-5 days and generate the maximum profit in a short time;
• Mid-term (Moderate) - let your bots operate for 2-4 weeks and get the most out of market volatility;
• Long-term (Conservative) - launch bots that can work for 2 months and grow your portfolio gradually.

Here, you can also check the number of bots and trading pairs for each strategy. They are selected by the algorithm automatically and cannot be changed.

Attention: The suggested investment term is only a recommendation. The system will not automatically close your bots once the term is over. Bots launched with the AI Assistant will operate until you close them manually, or they meet the Take Profit target.

Evaluate the potential efficiency of your trading strategy with the Backtest chart. Backtest allows you to assess the possible performance of your future bots based on historical data of the suggested trading pairs.

The results are for reference only, but they can help you draw some conclusions about optimizing settings for performance, for example, the investment term or amount.

If you are ready to proceed, click the [Continue] button.

3. Review and confirm the settings

This is the final step before launching the bots. Take a moment to review all the selected settings.

Preview settings:

• Exchange;
• Investment;
• Number of started bots;
• Profit currency;
• Trading pairs of your GRID Bots;
• Take Profit for the Pro plan users: Enter the Total PNL % value at which each GRID Bot will be closed automatically.

By default, bots started with our AI Assistant will have Trailing Up and Pump Protection enabled. You can deactivate these features or enable others at any time.

Click on the [Start bots] button to create your bot portfolio.

Portfolio for AI bots

The Portfolio mode allows you to combine selected active bots into a single portfolio. When Portfolio mode is activated, all AI bots work as a single unit with a common Take Profit level, individual actions, and special display statuses. However, it is impossible to edit each bot individually after activating the Portfolio feature.

Activating the Portfolio mode

1. Choose exchange you want to use.
2. Select how long you want to keep your bot and click [Continue].
3. From the “Active bots” panel, switch to the “AI” tab.
4. Scroll down and activate the Portfolio mode by switching the toggle. Once enabled, you can name your portfolio or leave the default name.

If the Portfolio mode is enabled, the total profit will be calculated, considering all AI bots. When activating the Take Profit feature, you can choose between “Portfolio Total PNL” or “Portfolio Bot Profit”:

• Portfolio Total PNL - combined total PNL of all your bots, including your bots’ profit + unrealized PNL;
• Portfolio Bot Profit - combined realized PNL of all of your bots.

AI bots appear in the “Active Bots” tab. You can expand the drop-down list of your active bots by pressing the [+] button.

Checking portfolio performance

Portfolio performance for active portfolios includes the following elements:

1. The name of your portfolio and general data: total investment in the entire portfolio, total Total PNL for all AI bots, and the list of trading pairs of launched bots;
2. Portfolio profit shows the total bot profit for bots included in the portfolio;
3. Positions PNL shows the change in the value of the base currency;
4. The [Add Take Profit] button is shown for portfolios that do not have TP activated;
5. Portfolio Profit chart displays how the bot profit of the entire portfolio was changing throughout time;
   
   
6. Chart Sum. asset allocation - the ratio of currencies used in bots and your portfolio's profit.
7. Trading time - time of bot operation; Transactions - number of executed trades of the bot; Portfolio ID - unique portfolio number.
   
   
8. Clicking the [Portfolio actions] button opens a menu with available actions:

Note: Portfolio Aсtions are not available for AI bots that are not included in the portfolio.

• Modify Bots Portfolio TP allows you to change the Take Profit value and Take Profit type (Bot profit/total PNL) or disable TP.
• Rename Bots Portfolio allows you to rename your portfolio.
• Stop Bots Portfolio allows you to close the portfolio by selecting one of the options:
• Sell base/quote currency to quote/base currency at market price;
• Cancel all open orders and return base/quote currency to the balance.

Managing AI bots

After launching, bots will appear in the “Active bots” tab and have an AI icon:

By default, bots started with our AI Assistant will have Trailing Up and Pump Protection enabled. You can deactivate the features and enable others anytime.
