Trading Terminal Settings
You can easily customize your terminal layout and trading behavior directly within the Bitsgap platform without switching to your exchange account.
How to Access Terminal Settings
To access the settings click on the gear icon located below the profile icon in the top right corner of the screen.
You will see two tabs: Layout and Settings.
1. Layout Tab
In the Layout tab, you can choose how your trading terminal is displayed:
- Left: The order panel appears on the left side, with the chart on the right.
- Right: The order panel appears on the right side of the screen, with the chart on the left.
Choose the one that suits your workflow best.
2. Settings Tab
The Settings tab includes advanced terminal settings. Currently, the main option available is:
Trading Mode
This setting allows you to conveniently switch between One-way Mode and Hedge Mode for Futures trading, directly from the platform.
Hedge Mode
- Lets you open both long and short positions on the same contract.
- Supported on: Binance, Bybit, and KuCoin (up to one position per direction), and OKX (up to two positions per direction).
- Not available in Demo mode.
One-way Mode
- The default mode currently used in the terminal.
- Only allows one position (either long or short) per contract.
Note:
- You cannot change the trading mode while you have active positions, orders, or bots. Please close all of them before switching.
- Switching trading mode is available for Futures trading only.
